All of our designs are specifically created for each occasion and for each couple. I don’t try to create more than I think you are asking me for. I have zero interest in designing a big bunch of flowers just to have a big bunch of flowers … BUT if you love big bunches of flowers and had your heart set on it – well, that’s exactly what I want to do!
I am here to help and can be as involved from A-Z or from H-Z as you want me to be. I am the girlfriend you can chat to at all hours about the shade of your wedding flowers … or if you’re a busy couple and really just want something beautiful, chic and about you but don’t have the time (nor inclination) to wax poetic about the font on your invites, I can design based on whatever it is you want (or have the time) to do and take it from there.
THE DESIGN PROCESS
A design and creation process can be easily broken down into (3) sections. The Beginning, The Middle and The Finale!
The Beginning …. The Foundation!
This is crucial and probably one of the most important steps in the design and creation of you wedding. It’s always nice if I can be there from the very beginning, but certainly not imperative. The Beginning includes:
*Location and Venue Selection
*Your Dress selection! (I don’t help you select this – but at our initial meeting, I will explain why!) and Groom Attire
*Save-the-Dates/Wedding Invites/Wedding Website consultation and recommendations
*Bridesmaid and Groomsmen attire consultation and recommendations
*Color Boards and Options
The Middle …. The Design and Creation Process!
You might come to us with The Beginning already done – No problem! We can jump right into integrating what you’ve already done with the rest of the design and creation process. Once I have a very clear idea and understanding of what you are looking for (and all the elements up above have been selected and procured), I will create your Design. This section includes:
*Inspiration Board
*Design Lay-out and Drawings for each element of your event (this is usually at least a 20-40 page .pdf design presentation)
*Finding rental items and specific requests to floral vendors
*Floral and Rental Vendor selection, request for proposals
*A complete breakdown of who is responsible for bringing and providing what – covering everything from the hotel itself, to rental and floral vendors, to whatever we might be creating or bringing for the event, including anything you might be bringing or making yourself
*Floral and Rental Vendor Proposals and Cost breakdown
*Floral and Rental Vendor negotiations and request for edits (as needed)
*Communication with your hotel (or villa manager or coordinator, if you have one), as needed.
*Site visits (where necessary)
*Unlimited email communication and Skype or phone calls (as necessary)
The Finale… The Creation of!
We’ve finally made it to your Wedding day! Everything is set in motion and we are ready to put this whole she-bang together! I am there the day of your event to ensure each and every detail is where it should be and each and every rental and floral provider is doing what they should. Depending on the size and scope of your event, I will either have my assistant with me as well or a whole team of people. Whatever needs to be done in order to ensure that you don’t need to worry about one single thing with regards to the décor, rentals and floral of your wedding we will do!
